Umicore Thin Film Products offers a range of planar and rotary sputtering targets to the Solar industry, with applications in Thin Film Technologies (CdTe, a-si, µ -si, CIGS), CSP & wafer based cells (Si & Heterojunction).
Umicore has specialized in the development & manufacturing of transparent conductive oxide targets (TCO) such as Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), Aluminum doped Zinc Oxide (AZO) Zinc Oxide (i-ZnO) and Rotary Ceramic Sintered Targets. We are today the only manufacturer proposing this range of TCO targets in both planar and rotary formats on an industrial scale. Our materials are today officially qualified by most of the best known OEM’s.
Our manufacturing sites are located in Balzers (Liechtenstein/Europe), Providence (USA) and Hsinchu (Taiwan), and our customers can count on a worldwide network of 20 Umicore offices providing local sales and technical support.
